Heyy there!! :) Lone Flame here, ready to post the first island walkthrough on dis here blog! This walkthrough will also be found in the tab up there ^^^^ titled "Island Walkthroughs" Feel free to take a look up there if you do so wish.
Alright, let's begin. OH WAIT. I must, must, must must must must MUST mention, that I will not be doing video- walkthroughs. Mainly because they take up much time and computer space, and just blogging about it is easier.
Sorry if you were looking for a video walkthrough :(
On that note, let's begin.
You should start on the island.
Unfortunately, when you talk to the lady, she doesn't help much. Keep going right and feel free to talk to the backpackers and the working man. Jump up onto the tree branch and grab the five dollar bill.
Run back to Main Street and go into the General Store.
Everything there is overpriced, so you have to buy the sports drink.
Go right again where the lady with the dog was, and give the working man the sports drink.
He will give you his shears while he takes a break.
Now we're going to go all the way left, and a guy in a hot air balloon will float away into the sky.
You'll be seeing him again later.
Go over to the left and talk to the girl with the glider. You'll give her a push and she'll sail away. Hop up onto the building right where the girl was, which also has a lighthouse.
Climb up that building and use your shears to get the guy in the balloon off the ground.
When he leaves, you get Nylon Rope.
Head back to Main Street and go into the shop called "Kitty's Kites."
Go in and ask for the green kite up against the wall, called the Kitesurfer X250. You can try out other kites if you want ^_^ Oh and if Kitty says that regular rope isn't strong enough for the kite, go into your backpack and click on the Nylon Rope, and she'll let you try out the kite.
Once you get the Kitesurfer X250, which you use with the Nylon Rope, go back left and where you gave the girl a push. Use the kite and you'll begin to go across the water.
Gretchen Grimlock will show up and ruin your kite! :(
You'll begin to sink when the Mews Helicopter shows up.
You'll wake up in a room, lying on a bed, talking to a man about the prize money and Gretchen Grimlock's sabotage. He'll tell you to come downstairs and talk to him when you feel better.
Click on the glass of water on the nightstand next to you, and you'll be able to get up and walk around.
Exit the room and go to the room on the bottom right hand side. It also has a picture of a wooly mammoth on the wall next to the door.
Go down the steps and take a right, where you'll see the Giant Squid, whose existence is confirmed. Click on all the crytpids videos, you can just click and exit or listen to them, and Mews will appear.
He will tell you about his fascination of crytpids and his hope to confirm their existences.
You will then offer to help him confirm and find proof of the Loch Ness monster, Bigfoot/Yeti, Chupacabra, and the Jersey Devil.
Exit the lab, (where you just were) and go outside. Go right and into the helicopter.
First destination: Scotland-Loch Ness
Go right and find the guy with car problems. His truck is stuck under the bridge, and you have to help the poor lad.
Click on his tires and the air will release, remember to HOLD DOWN THE VALVE THINGIE.
When you're done helping him, he'll give you his camera. Go right to the Pub. On the counter will be a box of Matches. Jump over them and they'll add to your backpack.
Now go left and talk to the guys. They'll argue whether Nessie is real or not.
Talk to the guy with glasses and a curly moustache :3
He offers to give you information on Nessie, and a row boat ticket, if you beat him at a game of Darts.
Challenge Accepted.
You get Ratty Darts and the game begins. Just keep trying until you finally beat the dude. It may take a while, but listen to me young grasshopper, patience is key.
(p.s. it helps to let your dart to steady and then hit your spot, and hold.)
After you win you get the Rowboat Tickets. Leave the pub and go all the way left.
Go past the helicopter and the sub, and you'll see a guy in a puny boat with a 4 o'clock shadow, and give him your ticket.
He'll give you a ride and you snap a faraway picture of Nessie. Go right and back to your helicopter and to Mews' Mansion.
Go into his lab, (the door with the wooly mammoth picture), and show him the picture. Sadly, its just a phony. Go back to Scotland. (Loch Ness)
Talk to the guy who tricked you, the Rowboat guide. You'll mention police and he'll take off.
Go back to the Pub.
Talk to the two guys, and one happens to have a Submarine Ticket. The scarf guy says you have to earn it, so here comes yet another dart game. Keep on trying even if you don't get it the first couple times!
Exit the pub and go right to the guy with white hair and use your Submarine Ticket. When you go down, look around until you see this:
Use your camera and go back to the Pub. Go to your backpack and click on the photo you just took. The guys will prove you wrong, yet again. When you click on the newspaper, you see that it was only a prop.
Since the guy feels bad for you, he gives you some Peregrine-feathered darts. Go near the Pub's door, but stay inside, and you'll see curly moustached man again. He wants another game of darts, eh?
You say no, but he says he's got something good to give if you win.
So of course you take him on. Keep playing till you win!
The curly man, whose a sore loser, leaves without giving you your fair gift. So the barman gives you a Penny Whistle. Go back to the Rowboat and go left. Go as far as you can go in it and use the Penny Whistle. Nessie will appear.
Get a photo of her and head back to Mews. Show him the picture, and Nessie will finally be confirmed.
Next Destination: Himalayas-Yeti
You'll arrive and you'll see a climber, a cook, and some other guy. Keep climbing the snowy parts until you find the Sherpa, who offers to take you up the mountain.
P.S. Jump on the stick over the campfire, onto the roof, then over left onto the snow shelf, and keep climbing until you see the Sherpa. He looks like this..

So once you meet the Sherpa, you'll start to go up the mountain.
You need to click on the little circlets with the statues and then wait until the Sherpa catches up with you. Only jump the snow is blowing lightly, because its harder to jump when the wind is blowing. You can still jump when the wind is going, its just trickier to navigate.
When you reach the top, you'll see a lot of people who look like they're B.A.D agents in robes. Not to worry, they're just the monks.
Go into the monastery, which looks like this inside..
Go right and talk to the guy with the lantern. You'll ask for the Yeti Scalp, he'll say no, you offer to split the prize money, he'll say no, and then you'll plead for the scalp because you need proof. Its still a no from him, but he does give you his lantern.
Now go back outside and climb up the snowy mountain so you're on top of the monastery. You'll see a monk, and he will offer something that could help you.
But first you have to beat him at a game. Now this game gets a little tricky, but keep trying until you get it. You can only move once at a time, and you have to reach the other side without being cornered by each hunter.
When you win, go up the building and onto the mountain. Keep going until you see the flowery bushes and the print in the snow.
Snap a picture of it.
Head back down the mountain and to the helicopter, to Mews Mansion.
Sadly its only a snowshoe track.
He says the Himalayas probably aren't worth going back to, so you're done with the Yeti. But big foot is still out there.. :3
Next Destination: Puerto Rico- Chupacabra
When you get there, you will be reunited with the hot air balloon guy, who is now stuck due to Gretchen Grimlock.
You'll talk to a guy and he'll complain about the cryptid hunters coming and scaring the goats.
Go right and and talk to the hot air balloon guy if you wish, then talk to this dude.
He will lend you his jeep and asks you to give his brother some seed. Go in the jeep and head to this star-
Talk to the guys brother and he will thank you for delivering the seed.
He will also tell you that the Chupacabra came to his farm last night, and left fur on his fence.
Go left and collect the Unidentified Fur.
Get back into the jeep and head to this star-
You'll see a lot of goats stuffed in the house, some hanging out of the window, and some piled on top of each other inside a fence. Talk to the man and he'll say that the Chupacabra only likes goats in groups of three or more.
Head to this star..
Talk to the man, and he will tell you that the Chupacabra only likes spotted goats.
Climb up these things, which are to the right of your jeep, and when you get up there, you get the Bolt Cutters.
Get back into your jeep and click on the blue button that says "Back to Start"
Get in the helicopter and to Mews Mansion.
Show him the fur and run the test on it. Just follow the instructions exactly and you'll get it. If you mess up, just try again.
It turns out to be coyote fur, but he thinks you could still find proof.
Go back to Puerto Rico.
The guy who lent you his jeep says that he's had enough of the Chupacabra and is going to trap it.
Go to the only star we haven't been to, the middle one.
Here you'll need to trap three spotted goats in the mouth of the cave thingie, the thing that looks like a skull with bones around it.
Use your jeep to trap the goats. It helps if you get behind the goats and slowly guide them into the cave mouth, like-a so..
Exit the jeep. A guy has come to help, and the trap is set. You hide behind some rocks, using the goats as bait, and then THUMP! the Chupacabra comes!! When you try to put him into the truck, he busts out of the cage, and runs off. But he leaves behind his tooth.
Bring the tooth back to Mews. Chupacabra confirmed.
Next Desination: New Jersey- Jersey Devil
Go right, hop onto the dumpster and then the roof, and you'll see the girl you gave a push to in the glider, stuck in a tree. Gretchen Grimlock sabotaged, yet again.
Use your Shears and help her down.
Now take out your Bolt Cutters and use them on the dumpster. Sort through it until you get the Bathroom Stall Door.
Go into the bathroom.
When you go in, the doors will go together, and you'll get the Bathroom Door message. There's also a guy missing some teeth with a wrench in there.
Exit the bathroom and use the motorcycle.
Use this as a guide.
The part that the mouse is covering says 'Fright'.
Follow the instructions and go Right, Left, Left, Right, right right, left left.
When you follow the instructions, exit the motorcycle and look around.
When you get there, its too dark, so use your matches and you'll light up the lantern the monk gave you.
Now go into the creepy gates and into the creepy house. Climb the steps, and you'll hear something in the attic.
Move the dresser all the way left so you can jump up into the attic.
Go right until the raccoon jumps out of the barrel.
Grab the Grappling Hook. Go back down stairs, and then when you get to the main level, you'll see this lovely sight in the window.
Go outside. You'll see the Jersey Devil yet again, but it will fly away. Use the Grappling Hook to get to the top of the tree where the nest is.
You'll get some Broken Egg Shells. When you get to the motorcycle, just click the button, 'Back to Start.' Head back to Mews Mansion.
Looks like they're real, and the Jersey Devil will be confirmed.
You'll get news of a Bigfoot sighting, and there will be a new destination on the helicopter. Go there.
Follow Bigfoot around without losing sight of him. He'll go into his cave, and you'll tell Mews, but Gretchen Grimlock intercepts the connection with Mews and is going to trap Bigfoot herself, and you have to stop her.
Follow her helicopter and hit hers with yours. Jump off of your helicopter, onto hers, and to her fuel tank and click on it, and she'll start losing her fuel. Now jump down to Bigfoot where he's being held in a cage, and use your Shears to cut the rope and free him.
Here's the fuel tank.
You'll fall, with a parachute, to the ground with Bigfoot.
You'll end up back in Mews lab, and give up the million dollar reward to help Bigfoot.
And finally, you'll get your medallion.
Island completed.
